As part of the Centre's efforts to encourage local research in the Social Innovation sphere, we would like to extend a grant to all undergraduate students (senior theses/equivalent) and postgraduate students (Master/PhD) who undertake research in this area. The details of the “Call for Student Research Grant applications” and the application form are attached here.
We are interested in (but not limited to) research works that :
Provide insights on the potential of innovative ideas and practices that foster positive social change
Identify the gaps in the Singapore social service sector that are not being adequately addressed and propose appropriate directions
Identify and foster the changes that are needed by the different players in the social or charity ecosystem to bring it to the next level.
Provide for an improved understanding of CSR in the Asian context and ideas on how best to foster socially responsible practices
The Centre invites student research proposals in any area related to social innovation, with priority given to the following areas:
