Lien Centre actively supports the development of thought leadership in what we call the "social space" through publications that showcase ideas from social innovators in Singapore and around the world.

The World That Changes The World

The Lien Centre takes an ecosystem approach towards intervention. The major players in the social ecosystem can be said to be: beneficiaries, charities, capacity builders, regulator and community, among others. It is taking on a broader approach in the next phase, focusing on, amongst others, social entrepreneurship, regulation and government 2.0, volunteerism and global civil society. Working with a pool of international thought leaders, this project has culminated in the publication The World That Changes The World.

Social Space

Social Space is the Lien Centre's professional magazine, which is published on an annual basis. All articles from the 2008 , 2009 , 2010 and 2011 editions are available for download .

Software-as-a-Service White Paper

We believe that Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) can be the most cost effective model in the long term for the delivery of IT services to non profit organisations. To address this need, Lien Centre has engaged Accenture Singapore staff on a pro-bono basis to conceptualise a White Paper on Promoting Non-Profit Organisations' IT Enablement in Singapore.
